My name is Laura Dowling from Co. Wicklow, Ireland,I graduated from the National College of Art and Design with a degree in Visual Communications in 2010.
After working as a graphic designer in Dublin I decided to travel and move to New Zealand for a year.
I came to Queenstown with the intention of staying only a few weeks but fell in love with the place and became so inspired by my surroundings that I joined the Arts Society took up oil painting. My first group Exhibition in  "fresh off the Boat" was a great experience in so many ways and really encouraged me to keep painting.
I am also interested in illustration and animation and would like to do some projects in these areas, please check out my blog to see my animation and design work.
