What is the Queenstown Art Society?

Our Mission is to promote and encourage participation and opportunities in the visual arts for the benefit of Queenstown and the surrounding community.

What we do.

We are a registered charitable trust dedicated to supporting, producing and presenting visual arts and creative practices in the Whakatipu.

We focus on building community and awareness, holding workshops, developing a strong exhibition programme and our annual Art Awards.

We are based within the inspiring arts facility - Te Atamira in Frankton.

Make a donation.

As a registered charity (CC 49956) and a not-for-profit organisation we rely upon the generosity of our members, grants and support from local and national funding bodies, and donations from individuals and organisations to allow us to do what we do. If you’d like to lend a hand, please get in touch - ever little bit helps!
