Queenstown Arts Society warmly invites you to participate in our upcoming Members Exhibition.
Above, Below, Beyond invites artists to explore layers of perception, experience, and meaning. Discover vantage points, hidden depths, and the spaces that lie just outside ordinary sight. What happens when we shift our perspective? What stories or forms emerge when we look upward, downward, or further than what’s immediately visible?
Interpret the theme literally, metaphorically, or conceptually. We can’t wait to see what you submit!
Suitable Media:
Painting, photography, sculpture, installation, textile, digital art, mixed media, and conceptual works.

Work couriered: must arrive to Te Atamira between 25-27 February by 1pm, or by arrangement with QAS before 21 February 2026

OVERVIEW
Three prizes are up for grabs. Prize winners will be selected by QAS Committee members.

Please note: QAS Committee members are not eligible to win prizes.
$25 entry fee for QAS Members - limited to one entry per person.
Each entry allows to submit up to 2 artworks. When an entry includes two artworks, preference will be given to the first artwork submitted. Exhibition of the second artwork will be subject to gallery space.
Open to all QAS members. Non-members need to join before or on entering.

Artworks cannot have been shown in any QAS exhibition in the last 2 years.
Any works for sale have 30% commission off the wall price if sold. Artist sets the wall price and this is the price written on the work at time of receiving it for the exhibition – for more information see note 27 below in Entry Conditions.
Unframed work and prints are welcome, please check allowed size. See note 14 in Entry Conditions about presentation of these pieces.
When artworks are dropped off at Te Atamira, artists must unpackage artworks and take the packaging away. QAS is not able to store packaging during the exhibition. When picking up unsold artworks, it is the responsibility of artists to repackage their artworks for transport as appropriate (unless prior arrangement is made with QAS to return artworks via post).

1) Select QAS Membership
Already a member?
Check if your QAS Membership is up to date.
The membership is valid for a year since your purchase. Check your email confirmation or log in to the client account on our website.
We encourage practising artists to choose Artist Membership - check the benefits here.
2) Add exhibition entry to your cart
Entry fee is $25, it allows a member to submit up to 2 artworks
Preference will be given to the first submitted piece, with the second piece considered subject to availability of exhibition space.
Limit one entry per person.
3) Pay for your cart
Please pay now - click the shopping cart icon below to go to checkout and after purchase go to the entry form below.
4) Fill out and submit entry form
Official entry form is the only way to submit - please fill the entry form below.
If you need to apply for oversized or digital media artworks submission, please get in touch at least one week prior to entries closing at hello@queenstownartsociety.co.nz.
After successful submission you will receive a confirmation email from us.
