Amy Krasey

Amy Krasey is a Melbourne-born artist now based in Queenstown, New Zealand, where the surrounding landscapes have become a constant source of inspiration for her work.

Working primarily in acrylics, Amy creates impressionistic landscape paintings that focus on capturing the feeling and atmosphere of a place rather than every exact detail.

She is drawn to the way light, colour, and mood can transform a landscape, whether it is the stillness of a mountain view, the movement of water, or the changing tones of the sky.

Painting has been part of Amy’s life since she was young, but returning to it in Queenstown gave her a renewed passion and a deeper connection to her creative practice. Her work is inspired by the natural beauty of New Zealand and the emotional connection people have to places and memories.
