Anna Claire is a contemporary jewellery artist based in Arrowtown, Aotearoa New Zealand.

Rooted in her upbringing on the farms of Te Wai Pounamu, Anna’s practice is deeply tied to the whenua. Using metal, cord, and resin to capture raw elements of the land, Anna makes jewellery for people who see themselves as a part of the natural world, part of a rhythm that will continue for millennia. Her jewellery is made to travel through the world with the wearer, who is an essential collaborator in bringing the piece to life.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Jewellery from the University of Otago, and has been a practicing jeweller for 20+ years. She is represented in contemporary jewellery and art galleries and regularly exhibits new work.
